"Like driving on ice, man..."
The B1 Class cars were really terrific and showed how much effort went into their construction. All entrants should feel pride for their efforts.
Below are photos of many entries (we are limited in space) and the final race results.

-Luiz Valdetaro's 1965 Lotus-Climax based on the Monogram car.
-Len Jackson's pair of 1955 Connaught and his B2 Class entry, a Lola Indy car.

-Michael Paschal's conventional brass-plate chassis on the Maserati 250F "streamliner" driven by Jean Behra in 1955 at Monza.
-Marcus Seitz's Lotus 38 uses a MJK chassis from Australia.
-The fantastic work done by Mark Manion on the 1967 Eagle-Weslake F1.
-Pete Sardella built the chassis for Mark Gussin's modified Strombecker car. This Brawner-Hawk (nee Brabham BT12) has the finest decals I have seen.
-Kathryn Walwick's Cooper T54 looks just like the real thing. OOOOPS, it IS the real thing!
-Jim Cunningham's Cooper T53 F1 had a superb chassis complimented with an engraved bottom plate, the whole thing nickel plated! Unfortunately, it kept popping its exotic BSRT HO motors...>

Sheldon's Lancia-Ferrari!
This car was awsome in presentation and performance. It was a bit slower than Russell's Alfa, and was hampered by leadwires that kept breaking by the guide flag. A pin-type guide would really have helped this car. It was the favorite of many at the races, and who could blame them...

Don Siegel's Bugatti 251
A very special entry from our "American in Paris"
Don Siegel. The resin body is hand cast, the chassis is wire and brass-plate, powered by the
usual "Cheetah". The car performed well but had a
severe tilting tendency. More weight would have helped low-down...
