TSRF
The True Scale Racing Federation has been created to bring back "model car" in slot racing, especially in the scale-starved United States of America.
While True-Scale exists at home raceways, it has virtually disappeared from the commercial raceways. This has helped causing a slow decline of the number of surviving raceways, as they struggle to keep their customers. Many customers in turn, are more and more turned off by the higher cost of staying competitive in a bizarre form of racing in which the cars no longer look like cars ,creating a repeat of the situation which nearly destroyed all forms of slot racing in 1967. Raceways cannot survive on a small nucleus of non-scale speed racers, many not even spending their dollars at their "home" raceways, as they can't get the parts they want to purchase there. And so they acquire them through mail-order dealers, many of them operating from their house or garage.
The TSRF wants to establish a frozen technology similar to NASCAR's philosophy, while allowing the creativity of modelers and providing good racing at a moderate cost. The raceways will greatly profit of the added income, and new racer-modelers will come back to the raceways or establish new clubs, as the racing becomes less intense and the appearance becomes as important as the racing itself.

The TSRF is now a reality!
You can join now, as our engineers are designing, testing and building the tooling for the production TSRF car, of which the design will be frozen for FIVE years.

The TSRF is also the organizer of the Marconi Foundation Proxy Races, and all info on this can be found by checking the links on this web site.
